Hormones are a huge part of our health, whether we are aware of it or not. As our bodies change, so do the levels of hormones in play. This is especially true too women. Too much oestrogen causes weight gain, bloating and water retention. Adding flaxseed and cilantro to your diet is an easy way to beat this bloat. This delicious shake makes it quick, easy and refreshing to get rid of extra oestrogen. We like to take it first thing in the morning to make sure we get our fruit and fibre!
- 2 mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small banana or 1/2 large banana
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup ice
- 1 tsp flaxseed
- 1/4 cup loosely packed cilantro
Put all ingredients in blender, and blend till smooth.
You can add any plant based protein powder and spirulina to make it extra filling and nutrient dense.
