K-pop Filipino Bibimbap
Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup blanched sitaw
  • 1 cup shitake mushrooms
  • 1 cup oyster mushrooms
  • 2 cups pechay
  • 1 cup leeks
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp gochujang ( pepper sauce)
Instructions
  1. Blanche the leeks and sitaw for 2 minutes in hot water. 

  2. Sauté the peachy in sesame oil, adding salt to taste. This takes the place of the traditional spinach. 

  3. In a pan, sauté the mushrooms in sesame oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. 

Sauce
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 

Arrange the bowl
  1. Put one cup of rice in the middle of the bowl.

  2. Arrange the different vegetables around the rice. 

  3. Place the sauce in the middle. 

  4. Remind those who are eating to mix everything well!
